So, I have made a few new friends since I have been here. Our principals are really cool (zach and carrie). The teachers I work with are pretty cool too. But my favorite peep right now is brad. I met him at training in June. So I have known him for a couple of months now, but he got here about a week after I did. He is really fun and easy to get along with. I have found that we just get along really well and because of that we hang out a lot. Friday we had our first adventure into the village by ourselves. We were looking for carrots so I could make chicken noodle soup. (it was rainy and a little chilly that day) Since he is lots of fun and knows some chinese I like having him around...He is teaching 5th grade at the school where I teach. We walked through the village in the rain for about an hour just to see what we could find. We found the huge vegetable market which was what we needed to find, but we also found that the village is much more vast than we had imagined before. I will tell you more about the village later:) So that was an intro to brad.
